First of all I'm NOT a Champagne expert but I know what I like

WE opened his wine last week after being given it as a gift for Christmas

Our favourite Champagne is Mumm so my experience is compared to this Champagne

It was slightly sweeter and had a fruitier nose/taste    the bubbles were small andd constant - not a big fizz and then nothing

there were hints of apple and peach at the back of the taste whilst the overall sensation was a wine that did not try to be something it's not (expensive)

For the cost it's a very nice wine and I will consider buying it

when I get the chance (hopefully from the vineyard this September when we are visitng the area)
